Before we venture into the intricacies of holiday loans, such as advantages and viability of it, let us have a look into the following data.
Household Spending Data
As according to the statistical data available in UK, the average spending per household was at 459 a week in 2007 compared to 449 in 2006. The data has been provided by COICOP (Classification of Individual Consumption by Purpose). If we go by the statistics, we find that household spending remained at its highest in the transport category, at 62 a week in 2007. Ok, I admit it I have succumbed to the eco-friendly realm of popularity. When the Toyota Prius first came out in 1997 I didn't notice many on the road. This could have been because it was one of the first commercial cars on the market and first impressions were sceptical. However in the last few years or so I have seen a definite increase in the number of Prius vehicles on the road. The thought of saving the planet is appealing if the hybrid vehicle allows less carbon to enter into the atmosphere. This is a great idea particularly because many scientific experts predict that oil will run out in some estimates as soon as 50 years.

In the UK over two million vehicles are scrapped each year and are often processed in one of the many scrap yards located around the country. These yards provide a quick and convenient way for people to dispose of old vehicles. Most yards also offer cash for your old vehicles so understanding the value of your scrap is extremely important.
The first thing to consider is your geographical location as it is likely that you will be close to more than one scrap yard. This availability and the distances which most scrap dealers are willing to travel means you can often shop around. One of the best things a vehicle owner can do is get valuations from several sources.
