Momo Corse – Leader All The Way!

Monday

It would only be a repetition, but is such an obvious fact that one simply cannot ignore it. There simply cannot be a substitute for hard work. And if you are also blessed with the ability to plan and prioritise your work, then you have all the ingredients to become a world beater. This is just the correct introduction for Momo Corse. Leader in car accessories, it was a wheel manufacturer of racing cars in its preliminary years before establishing itself as the biggest manufacturer of car accessories in the UK.

Momo Corse started its wonderful journey towards glory by constructing special types of steering wheels for racing cars. The tyres of the car were smaller then the ones in practice then. The combination gave a tight hand grip, which resulted in superior control over car resulting in smooth drive.

With all of the high tech gadgets available to today’s consumer, it can be difficult to figure out which gadgets are of real benefit to us and which ones are nothing more than toys with large price tags. Just look at all of the camera systems we can get for our vehicles. I mean, do you really need to watch “I Love Lucy” reruns while you’re driving 80 MPH on a crowded freeway?

It has never been easy to be an independent truck driver and with the high fuel prices, high cost of insurance and over regulations and bureaucracy; including out of control taxes it is a wonder that there are any Independent truck drivers left at all. And the ones who are left are upside down in truck payments and are not making very much money.

At the online think tank we talk a lot about logistics, distribution and transportation and we are quite alarmed at the challenges that the independent truckers have to deal with. Recently one independent truck driver told us;

Can a car be too fast? Inquiring minds want to know. Local highway patrol types would tell you they certainly can, but those who know the thrill of putting a foot to the metal of an exotic sports car aren’t so sure. The Ferrari F430, which was introduced to the US market in 2005, is the third fastest Ferrari roadster ever, after the Enzo Ferrari supercar and the 599. It tests at zero-to-60 in 3.9 seconds thanks to a feature borrowed from Ferrari’s Formula-1 racing technology (“Launch Control,” which was designed for standing starts at high RPM) but was not available in the US because of liability issues. Car And Driver tested the US version with 483 horsepower with an eye-popping 3.5 seconds. Which should answer the aforementioned question: very possibly, yes.

Whether you are looking to sell your motor home, travel trailer or 5th wheel it is important that you have a full understanding of what your recreational vehicle or RV is worth. The market changes on a regular basis. Therefore, it is important that you know about rv pricing and used rv prices, so you know how much you can actually sell your RV for.

One of the first conditions that will affect the selling price of your RV is the time of year you are selling it. If you try to sell your RV in the off season, you are less likely to get your desired asking price. Generally, buyers add in the fact they will have to store it for the winter when purchasing an RV. Therefore, they will generally offer you a much lower price. The off season is a bad time to sell your RV because many buyers are not in the market for an RV. In the spring time, buyers are geared up for the upcoming camping season and therefore more likely to pay closer to your RV’s worth.

Driving For Better Fuel Mileage!

Sunday

Practicing the following fuel efficient driving techniques can improve fuel economy more than 10%:

  • Observing the Speed Limit

In highway driving, over 50% of the energy required to move your car down the road goes to overcoming aerodynamic drag (pushing air out of the way). As you drive faster, aerodynamic drag and rolling resistance increase. As a result, at speeds above 55 miles per hour, fuel economy decreases rapidly.

By driving 55 miles per hour instead of 65, you’ll save gas. Of course it will take you longer to get to your destination, but for each extra hour you spend driving you’ll save $5.00. Owners of larger trucks and sport utility vehicles may save as much as $10.00 for each extra hour spent driving.

Back in Pennsylvania in 1967, the Coleman Company decided to begin building folding camping trailers for the sudden increase in families traveling in recreation vehicles. Over the years, Coleman Campers were known for their innovative design and engineering, high-quality manufacturing, and top-of-the-line customer service.

By 1979, Coleman campers were the best selling campers in the United States. However, Coleman campers are now known as Fleetwood Camping Trailers due to the acquisition of Coleman Recreational Vehicles by Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc. in 1989. Despite the change in name, these campers are still some of the best in the business.

These campers are one of the safest folding camping trailers available. Each Fleetwood, or Coleman camper, comes equipped with tons of safety features.

What Is Icc Authority?

Saturday
Nov 8,2008

All transportation companies need an operating authority issued by the former Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC) which is now maintained by the Department of Transportation (DOT). You as a trucker also need this operating authority. For commercial trucking and commercial truckers it is an unavoidable permit or authority. When you carry commodities over different state lines, you need this ICC authority along with truck Insurance and Cargo Insurance. While getting the ICC authority check with your home state rules and regulations. Your home state may have some regulation regarding loading and unloading of the items. For truckers an ICC authority means you have a permit to carry different items and goods within state and interstate.

Moped And Scooter Riders Take Care

Saturday

Moped and Scooter owners know that they are a superb mode of transport for getting around in the city and urban areas. They are mainly very low powered so are an extremely cheap mode of transport. In Europe and particularly in the UK the moped and scooter is mainly owned by 16 to 20 year olds and are usually a stepping stone to a larger motorcycle.

There are also a lot of European countries such as Spain, France and Greece where you can hire a moped or scooter and need very little in the way of paperwork other than a driving license to hire it, however you tend to see the accident and emergency rooms at the local hospitals bugling with un-savvy motorcyclists who have misjudged the local roads and traffic.
