All of us have been through this before… you decided to get an RV but are overwhelmed by the sheer number of styles- let alone makes and models. There are too many "ifs, ands & buts" to make a clear decision this early in your learning curve. So, how do you choose the best one?

In my opinion, the 5th Wheel (or Fifth Wheel) offers a lot of advantages that the other styles do not. Actually, I believe there are 4.5 compelling reasons to consider a 5th Wheel over the main competitors; Class A B and C’s, Travel Trailers, Campers, Camper Vans, Slide-Ins, SURV, or Buses.

Without further ado, here are the 4.5 Reasons to Buy a Fifth Wheel as your RV:

Many people wonder one certain thing about exhaust systems. What is the right exhaust system for my car?

Many factors are involved in answering this question. After all, this system will be on the vehicle for some time. Look into factors involved such as who carries an exhaust system for your vehicle, the tone you want, your performance needs, and what works best with your motor. Also, for performance increases, headers will do justice.

Who Carries a System For Me

The first factor to look into is what exhaust system manufacturers carry for your particular vehicle. Not every system is made for every vehicle in existence. So you have to make sure that you look for exhausts system that will actually fit your vehicle. You will definitely not want a system that rattles around under your vehicle and annoy you to no end. Would not be a good thing.

Regular grade gasoline is just as good as premium gas for your car if you are not driving a high performance vehicle such as a Viper, Corvette or a high end luxury car.

Premium gasoline was designed for high performance vehicles and luxury cars that are built for high rpm’s and richer fuel mixtures. But to put premium gas in your everyday driving vehicle that doesn’t specify premium on the gas cap is a waste of money. It may even lower your gas mileage by causing your fuel system to run a little rich.

Rv Spring Check Up

Sunday
Oct 26,2008

It’s that time of year again; time to get ready for another great camping season. We need to wake the RV up from its deep winter sleep and give it a good spring check up. If we take a little time and check everything out now, the RV will be ready to go when you’re ready to hit the road. In the military this is referred to as preventive maintenance. Maintenance you can perform on your RV before a problem exists. Maintenance designed to prevent or identify potential problems that could lead to mechanical breakdown, malfunction or failure of a component or system on your RV. Basically it consists of cleaning, inspecting, lubricating, adjusting and servicing your RV. Let’s get started.

The Bobcat

The Bobcat is another trade name that has become the same as a miniature front loader and backhoe. They often can be transported by means of a 1 ½ ton trailer and a pickup truck from one location to another. They are usually tracked like a Cummins or a Caterpillar dozer or wheeled like a tractor loader but only much smaller. They are most suited to landscaping in very close and tight quarters where earth has to be dug. They can be outfitted with a dozer blade, a scoop loader, a backhoe or a rock and cement drill; this is due to their size which is small but extremely effective.

Diy Speaker Rings

Making custom speaker rings can be a quick way to save some money if you are willing to spend a little time setting up. In this guide I will explain the process to making a basic ring as well as a recessed ring. Before you start, you need to make yourself a guide tool. You can free-hand cut your rings but for the most professional results you need a guide. The guide is just a piece of stock aluminum with the Roto-zip mounted on one side with staggered holes drilled down its length. If you do not have a Roto-Zip you can do the same with a jig saw.

Another weekend is approaching and you simply dread it because you know your son’s going to ask you the same question, “Where is my Kid ATV you promised?” The thing is, it’s not that you do not want to keep your promise to your son, but it’s just that you are confused. You are confused because there are so many different types of ATVs out there in the market, Kid ATVs, Youth ATVs, Adult ATVs, with various prices and sizes and what-nots. So you are trying (and probably struggling too!) to do some homework before you get the ‘perfect’ Kid ATV for your son. Besides, kids probably will change their minds about what they want from time to time, so you are not even sure if your son really wants a Kid ATV. But after 3 months of waiting, wailing, begging and crying, I am sure by now you’d know that he’s pretty serious about wanting a Kid ATV.
